A good track on the old military road rises from Forest Lodge onto Rannoch Moor, one of Europe's last great wildernesses, and crosses it by Ba Bridge to the Glencoe Ski Centre and Kingshouse, below Buachaille Etive Mòr. It is straightforward on a good day and very exposed in bad weather.
