The Way climbs gently up Glen Falloch past the Falls of Falloch, much of it on an old military road, to the halfway point of the Way above Crianlarich, where a spur path leads down to the village. From there a straightforward path with fine mountain views follows the River Fillan, past the ruins of St Fillan's Priory at Kirkton Farm, to Tyndrum.
